Exhibition: Stronger than we realise: Martial arts and recovery from gender-based violence

This exhibition comes from an RSE funded research project by Dr Chloe Maclean and Dr Rebecca Gordon exploring the role of martial arts in women’s recovery from gender-based violence. The exhibition brings together images from participants which tell their stories of recovery, and the role of martial arts within their recovery from GBV, through their own images and words. Please note that the exhibition contains images that discuss abuse and suicidal ideation.

There will be a short presentation/Q&A about the exhibition and the research project findings by Chloe on Thursday 8^th January at 1:30pm – 2:30pm (room N220).
