Glasgow 2026 Legacy Network

The Centre for Culture, Sport and Events (CCSE) have been commissioned by Spirit of 2012 to create a Legacy Network for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and beyond. This initiative working closely with Commonwealth Sport and the Glasgow 2026 Organising Company.

In August 2025, CCSE collaborated with Alex Johnston, Legacy Manager for Commonwealth Sport, to develop and deliver 10 co-creation workshops, with 215 attendees, representing 71 organisations. These workshops informed the production of the Story of Change for the Reimagined Games and signed up individuals and organisations to be part of the Legacy Network which will continue beyond the Games delivery period.
